Peter Gillies is a project manager, assessment and evaluation consultant and community development practitioner with more than 32 years of experience.
Currently residing in Afghanistan and working with UNHabitat on literacy and livelihoods, Peter undertakes assignments in project management, assessment and evaluation, and appropriate technology applications for development. Peter’s has extensive technical expertise in education, employment, small business development, and cultural economic development. Peter has an extensive track record of successful international development projects and, since 2005, has been living and working abroad in Afghanistan, the UAE, Timor Leste, Indonesia, Djibouti and India.
